Family Reunion 2016

In August of 2016, 23 of our family traveled to upper Minnesota to the Timber Bay Resort where we spent three days and nights in their 6 bedroom lodge "The Bear Claw". As well as the 6 bedrooms, there is a loft where a number of the younger grandkids slept. (At least we think they got some sleep up there).
Still lacking room, older grandkids found hammocks and sleeping bags acceptable to their needs.
On a beautiful lake, much of our time was spent near or on the waters. A great beach for swimming and other water activities was available. We rented a boat for some to go fishing and others just to ride and see the lovely sights around the lake.
A well equipped kitchen provided the tools necessary to supply wonderful breakfasts while most other meals were made using our outside grill.
At times we hiked, used the resorts archery range, or played a variety of indoor or outdoor games.
