Family Reunion 2021

You don’t have to travel to Montana or Wyoming to have an amazing dude ranch experience.
Only three hours from the homes of most of my family, near Mauston WI, is the Woodside Ranch where we had our 2021 Family Reunion. You’d swear this 100 year old ranch was way out west somewhere.
From horseback riding, to fishing on their man-made lake incredibly full of catch and release fish of a variety of types, or just walking the beautiful trails, the Woodside Ranch offered us everything we could ever want for a family reunion.
Woodside has over 100 horses on 1400 acres of land. To fit the needs of each family, some of us rented log cabins while others chose to rent rooms at the ranch lodge.
As well as participating in multiple horseback rides, each over a different trail, those who wished to, showed off their vocal skills during karaoke night; tested their skills at the archery range, or just walked along one of their trekking routes.

In addition to the more than 100 horses that live there, we also met donkeys, goats, llamas, chickens and all sorts of other farm animals. Plus, these folks have their own buffalo herd.

We congregated at one of our rented cabins for breakfasts and dinners and made s’mores over an open fire at night.
Three days of fun for everyone. We’ll do it again.
