We’ve been to Las Vegas a few times, but never to gamble.
Once, because my daughter got married amongst the beautiful rocks upon the nearby hills, and a couple of times during Nevada’s Annual Hospitality Convention where we demonstrated and sold a software package for independent motels. The software, I named MARS (Motel Accounting and Reservation System), was written during the early 1980’s. When PCs were new and while we owned a motel ourselves.
Although we stayed each trip in casino hotels, we did little gambling. The cigarette smoke alone kept us as far away from the gambling floors as we could manage.
What Las Vegas offers is:
        Relatively unexpected flights.
        Good Roma’s at good rates.
        Great food at reasonable prices.
        Some good entertainment.
What’s not to like.
